Harley Bennell is expected to play his first game for Fremantle on Saturday when the Dockers meet Geelong at home in the west.
Bennell (pictured) has continued to ramp up his training in recent weeks as he recovered from a calf injury and has impressed coach Ross Lyon and the Freo match committee with his presence on the ball at training.
Provided Bennell gets through Thursdays training session, teammate Nick Suban says he’s excited that the former Sun will finally get his chance to pull on the Dockers guernsey for the first time.
