While the Sharks have thrived under Gallens leadership, winning eleven games on the trot and sitting a win clear of the Storm at the head of the NRL ladder, Gallens place in the Blues squad for his last Origin appearance has been called into question following criticism of the Blues leader by Phil Gould.
Sharks fullback Ben Barba says Gallens leadership of the Sharks is beyond criticism and he has no doubt the skipper will be at his best when they meet the Eels on Saturday night.
