Toulon assistant coach Steve Meehan says its unlikely that rugby league convert Ben Barba (pictured) will play for the club in his first season.
Meehan is in Australia with the club for this weekends Ballymore Tens while Barba flies to France to join his new club.
Meehan says while Barba will have the full support of the club in making his transition to the 15 man game, it will be awhile before he’s ready to make his Toulon debut.
