Ben Barba’s excellent early season form for Cronulla has him under serious consideration for a spot in the Queensland squad for the 2016 State of Origin series.
Barba (pictured) has been outstanding for the Sharks since returning to the fullback position after being used primarily as a utility in 2015.
After a couple of less than stellar years, Barba says even being mentioned as a candidate for rep footy by Maroons coach Kevin Walters is giving him extra motivation to be at his best for Cronulla.
