Australian athletes and officials have begun arriving in Rio for the 2016 Olympic Games but it while before they are permitted to move in to the Games village.
With the Games already under fire after issues with athlete security, the last thing Games organizers needed was another controversy but they have it now after Australia’s chef de mission Kitty Chiller (pictured) decided the Australian teams building was unsafe.
Chiller has been on the ground in Rio for a week now and as of Monday morning, has decided that, at this stage at least, the Aussie team will be staying anywhere but the athletes village.
