A Narungga elder is calling for an open and transparent truth about factors affecting First Nations people when working on treaties.
The comment comes as Victoria and South Australia work on processes towards a settlement with their jurisdiction’s First Nations people.
Chairperson of Narungga Nations Aboriginal Corporation, Tauto Sansbury says the way things are at the moment stems from the absence of a treaty.
