Co-Chair of the referendum council, Pat Anderson says working on a Treaty with First Nations people will be uncomfortable for many Australians, but it is needed for a better relationship.
The comment comes as Victoria and South Australia work on processes towards a settlement with their jurisdiction’s First Nations people.
Ms Anderson says over the next few months, Australia will have a lot of growing up to do.
