AFL – The AFL has expanded its Multicultural Program in 2016 to 18 players and have for the first time include two women in the program.
Sabrina Frederick – Traub and Darcy Vescio are joined in the group by the likes of Tendai Mzungu, Aliir Aliir, Bachar Houli, Lin Jong and West Coast Eagles star Nic Natanui.
The program is all about reflecting the multicultural nature of Australian society and Natanui says the inclusion of the two female players is another positive step, not just for women but for the game in general.
