NRL – North Qld skipper Johnathon Thurston (pictured) has withdrawn from next months Indigenous All Stars Clash in order to give his side every chance in the World Club challenge the following week.
The Cowboys will meet the English Super League champions in the UK on the 21st of February.
Thurston has been one of the biggest supporters of the All Stars clash but says the opportunity to win the World Club challenge for the Cowboys is too big to pass up.
