AFL – The pressure is mounting on the AFL to sort out the mess involving top up players for the other clubs affected by the ban on Essendon players.
Port Adelaide are just one of the clubs left undermanned after losing key players Paddy Ryder (pictured) and Angus Monfries to the ban.
Port had hoped to sign former Demons ruckman Mark Jamar this week only to lose him to the Bombers and NIRS Footys Chris Johnson says its high time for the AFL to clarify just where the clubs stand in respect of the top up players they require.
