AFL – Stephen May’s (pictured) onfield contributions in the Gold Coast Suns difficult 2015 season have been rewarded with a place in the Suns leadership group.
With skipper Gary Ablett absent for much of the season, May was a real force in the Suns defensive end and now finds himself one of the clubs three vice captains.
The 24 year old Noongar backman says with the support of coach Rodney Eade, he’s comfortable with his elevation to the leadership group, despite his youth.
