BASKETBALL – Nathan Jawai has made a triumphant return to the city where he first made his name as a basketballer.
Jawai (pictured) returned to the NBL this season and signed to play with the Perth Wildcats after successfully plying his trade in the US and in European basketball.
Jawai scored a team high 13 points and six assists for the Perth side in their 73 – 70 win over the Taipans in Cairns and Wildcats coach Trevor Gleeson says he was thrilled with the way Jawai stepped up for his side when they needed it most.
