ENDURANCE RACING – 28 year old Toby Price (pictured) has created history by becoming the first Australian to win the historic Dakar Rally.
Competing in the motorbike category, Price finished the race 39 minutes ahead of his nearest rival in just his second attempt in the gruelling cross country rally.
Price was already one of the riders to watch coming into the 2016 race after finishing third last year but not even Price himself could have predicted his dominance this year, grabbing five stage wins on his way to an historic victory in the famous race.
