Victorian clubs are set to receive seed funding to establish club academies in allocated areas in Victoria and the Northern Territory.
Known as Next Generation AFL academies, AFL footy operations boss Mark Evans says the programs will be designed specifically to attract boys and girls aged 11 to 18 to the sport.
