A three on three basketball team from Alice Springs will be heading to Japan after succeeding in the Australian competition.
The Alice Springs Centrals took part in the National ExE Competition which was co-hosted by Sydney and Melbourne last month.
They finished in second place among 12 teams and will tomorrow head to Japan to compete against Japan, Thailand and New Zealand teams.
Team leader and coach Mathew Koenig told NIRS News if they succeed in Japan, it will open up more opportunities.
