Police have officially ended their search for three fisherman who failed to return from a fishing trip off the north Queensland coast last week.
The men from the Aboriginal community of Yarrabah were aged 18, 27 and 37 and were last seen on January 26 at a reef off Green Island where they appeared to be having engine trouble.
They were travelling in a 4.8-metre white centre console aluminium boat with a blue canopy, registration VO317Q.
A seven-day search came to an end on Tuesday this week.
Family and community members continue to search for the missing men and anyone with information or who discovers debris along the coastline is urged to contact police.
