Retiring New South Wales captain Paul Gallen (pictured) has one last chance to add to his record as the most unsuccessful State of Origin captain in history when the Blues meet Queensland in Game Three on Wednesday night in Sydney.

Gallen will captain his state for the 16th time, a record in itself  but will leave the Origin arena as the winner of just one series.

The controversial Blues skipper would desperately love to go out on a  winning note but that didn’t stop him having one last crack at Queensland and its supporters.
