In NSW authorities have warned people planning to gather in Sydney for the annual Invasion Day rally could risk being fined if the event goes over the 500 person limit in place due to COVID-19.
More than 3000 people have indicated they will attend the protest at the Domain on Tuesday morning, however current COVID-19 public health orders limit protests within Greater Sydney to a maximum of 500 people.
NSW Police Minister David Elliot told media police would be out to enforce public health orders and criticised organisers for going ahead with the protest.
