A travel bubble between Australia and New Zealand will begin from April 19, allowing Australians to enter New Zealand without going into hotel quarantine.
While Kiwi’s have been able to enter Australia freely since October last year, it will be the first time quarantine-free travel both ways has been open this year.
New Zealand PM Jacinda Ardern said the conditions for quarantine-free travel had been met, but warned travellers to be prepared for travel plans to be disrupted at the last minute.
