The Indigenous Literacy Foundation (ILF) is hosting a free, virtual event to provide a snapshot into the richness, diversity, and multi-lingual world of First Nations people.
It comes as the Foundation celebrates Indigenous Literacy day, with the online event going live from 9am this morning.
The event will include videos from Jessica Mauboy, author and performer Gregg Dreise, photographer Wayne Quilliam and a special video from Uncle Archie Roach.
There will also be a selection of pay-to-experience digital workshops, run by seven individuals including some of the Foundations Ambassadors and supporters.
Indigenous Literacy Foundation (ILF) Ambassador Shelly Ware spoke to NIRS about the event and says it’s about celebrating stories and language.
