Thousands of people will come together tonight to watch the kick-off of the Indigenous All Stars double-header.
The pre-season tournament begins when the women’s Indigenous All Stars team takes on the Maori All stars at 4:50pm local time.
Afterwards the men’s Indigenous All Stars team will be defending their title against their Kiwi counterparts.
Men’s captain Latrell Mitchell says leading the team is a career highlight.
The men’s clash between the Indigenous and Māori All-Stars will start at 8:10pm AEDT, following the conclusion of the women’s All-Stars game which opens proceedings in Queensland Country Bank Stadium at 5.50pm AEDT.
