Government’s around the country are being called on to invest in areas that will improve mental health.
The Mental Illness Fellowship of Australia is urging people to reach out for help if they are struggling with data showing many are missing out on support.
It comes ahead of World Mental Health Day on Monday which will be marked with the theme Making Mental Health & Well-Being for All a Global Priority.
Data provided by the fellowship shows 54 per cent of people experiencing mental illness are not seeking help.
