An Aboriginal man is in a critical condition in hospital after he was shot by police in a suburb south of Brisbane on Wednesday afternoon.
The 40-year-old man was allegedly shot by officers near the town centre of Logan Central about 1pm after officers were called to a disturbance.
Queensland police claim the man had threatened them prior to the shooting.
It’s the latest in a series of police shootings of a Aboriginal men in the state in recent months, following the death of a man in north Queensland and another in the Brisbane suburb of Grange.
