When Mal Meninga was appointed to succeed Tim Sheens as Kangaroos coach, it was with a clear mandate to prepare  the next generation of international stars while restoring pride in the National jumper.

With that in mind, Meninga (pictured) took the Kangaroos to the Four Nations tournament determined to blood as many players as possible to the Green & Gold jersey.

The Australian side blew the Kiwis off the paddock in the final on Monday morning to the tune of 34 – 8, leaving the coach content after a job well done.
