Former Qld star Justin Hodges has dismissed calls from Broncos coach Wayne Bennett for Ben Hunt to replace Johnathon Thurston in Origin Game Three.
Bennetts suggestion appears ludicrous after Hunt was dropped to the Qld Cup just three weeks ago, although Hunt will start for Brisbane against Melbourne tonight .
Hodges (pictured) of course captained Hunt at the Broncos but he says a Game Three Origin encounter is no place for Hunt to be making his Origin debut.
