More than 70 First Nation’s young people will meet in Sydney this weekend for the second annual meeting of Australia’s first Indigenous Youth Climate Network.

The Seed summit will bring together young people from across remote and regional Australia with the aim of raising awareness of Indigenous people and their leadership on climate change.

Seed has been active in opposing major mining projects such as the Adani Carmichael mine in the Galilee Basin.

Bundjalung woman Larissa Baldwin is the National Coordinator and Campaigner for Seed and says they shouldn’t have to sell their country to have sustainable living.
