The Founder of the Stronger Smarter Institute says it’s important to get First Nations children to understand the need to embrace our sense of cultural identity.
Chris Sarra spoke on Koori Radio’s Blackchat program about why it is vital to educate Indigenous people especially our youth and future generations.
Mr Sarra says if Aboriginal people don’t begin to strengthen their cultural identity and links to their ancient past, they could lose it forever.
He says at the moment there are First Nations people coming through with a passion to learn about their culture.
