Woolworths has announced it will be reviewing its decision to build a super liquor store in Darwin.
The company has been under fire from locals and community organisations over plans to build what would be Australia’s largest Dan Murphy’s outlet in Darwin, within walking range of three dry communities.
CEO for the Aboriginal Medical Services Alliance Northern Territory, John Paterson says if the company consulted with the community in the first place there would have been no reason for a review.
