The Coalition of Peaks expects a National Agreement with Australian governments will be finalised and made public by the end of next month.
It comes after a year of work and engagements with communities as a part of a Close the Gap refresh which is expected to change the relationship with Government and how they deal with Indigenous affairs.
The Coalition of Peaks have this week released a snapshot of how the engagements have a turned out and was accompanied by an independent review declaring that the engagements were effective, open, fair and transparent.
Chair of the Executive Council for the peaks, Esme Bamblett says the engagements found overwhelming support for the three key priority reforms.
She says the engagements gave birth to a fourth priority, calling for our organisations to have access to information and data collected by Governments.
