The New South Wales Womens side have extended their dominance at the National Indigenous Cricket Championships in Alice Springs.

With skipper Ash Gardner in camp with the Australian team, the reigning champions needed something special as the rookie Queensland team, playing in just their second championships pushed them all the way.

With the Queenslanders threatening to chase down the Blues total, player of the match Roxsanne Van Veen (pictured) was able to take crucial wickets to see her side home by just 5 runs.
