Curtly Hampton has done no harm to his chances of winning a spot in the Adelaide Crows midfield for the clubs round one matchup with the Giants.

Hampton (pictured) had 26 possessions  and eight clearances in the clubs 39 point defeat of the Lions on the weekend in the sides final match before the season proper begins.

The club values its ability to keep opposition sides under a hundred points and Hampton says after seeing the Lions rack up 103 points against them,  the team will be doing plenty of work on the paddock to make sure the Giants don’t repeat the dose come round one.
