Daniel Wells last quarter heroics were crucial in the Kangaroos win over St Kilda but the result may well see him miss this weekends game against the Bombers.
Wells (pictured) received a severe cork late in the match and after being ruled out of any further involvement by medical staff, was keeping the injury warm when he made the decision to return to the game and consequently made a couple of vital last minutes contributions as North got home at the death.
North coach Brad Scott says while it would be a bonus if Wells were to play, the club will err on the side of caution.
