The West Coast Eagles expect Sharrod Wellingham (pictured) to bounce back strongly after an uncharacteristic display against Melbourne on Saturday.
The Eagles were perhaps lucky to finish on top of the Demons, winning the match by just 6 points.
Wellingham made some crucial errors coming out of defence as the Demons pressed late in the third quarter but after bouncing back strongly in the fourth, fellow midfielder Andrew Gaff expects a much improved display by Wellingham when he lines up against former club Collingwood at the MCG on Saturday afternoon.
