A jubilant Victorian side have taken out the National Indigenous Cricket Championships in Alice Springs, beating New South Wales for 18 runs.
Clayton Mc Cartney was the shining light for the Victorians with his 114 guiding them to 8/228 before the bowlers stepped to secure an historic first title for the Victorians.
Victorian skipper Ben Abbatangelo (pictured) says the victory was ample reward for his side that sacrificed a lot to win the championships for the first time.
