North Queensland coach Paul Green says he’s confident he has the versatility in his squad to cope with the loss of skipper Johnathon Thurston.
Thurston appeared to suffer a hamstring injury in the defeat of the Bulldogs last week and is expected to miss at least two weeks of football.
Green has named Ray Thompson (pictured) in the halves to replace Thurston and the coach says he believes the team is well placed to cover for the loss of the worlds greatest player when they meet the Storm at home on Saturday.
