St George Illawarra utility Joel Thompson (pictured) says he’s excited about his return to the Indigenous All Stars for the clash with the World team in Newcastle in February.
Thompson hasn’t played in the annual clash since 2013 but has been included in the 2017 side in what many are calling the best Indigenous side ever picked.
Thompson says to play alongside the likes of Greg Inglis, Johnathon Thurston, Sam Thaiday and Blake Ferguson while representing his culture and family is an honour he’ll ever forget.
