The Gold Coast Suns take on Melbourne on Sunday afternoon at the MCG.
The win over the Dockers on the weekend sees the Suns move well away from the bottom of the ladder but they’ll need to be at their best against the Demons that have been one of the better teams in the bottom half of the ladder.
Stand in skipper Stephen May (pictured) will welcome the presence of tall defender Rory Thompson alongside him in the Suns backline, saying the team is a much better one with the 25 year old defender on the paddock.
