Former South Sydney captain John Sutton says First Nations three quarter Dane Gagai would be a welcome addition to the Rabbitohs squad in 2018.
The Newcastle flyer, a standout for Queensland in the 2015 Origin series is believed to be on the verge of leaving the Knights to play alongside Maroons teammate Greg Inglis at Redfern.
Sutton (pictured) says Gagai would be a perfect fit for a South side that has lost a number of backline stars in the past two seasons.
