Gold Coast Suns star Jaeger O’Meara (pictured) has declared he wants to join premiers Hawthorn in 2017.
The former Rising Star winner, who hasn’t played in two years after suffering ruptured patella tendon has resisted efforts by the Suns to re – sign him despite a reported offer of $900,000 a season.
Hawks ruckman Ben McEvoy says he’d welcome the arrival of O’Meara and he’s confident the Hawks medical team would be able to get the 22 year old back on the paddock.
