Laurie Daley (pictured) has added another of the games greats to his coaching staff for the 2017 State of Origin series.
Daley announced that former Titans coach John Cartwright would be part of the Blues set up a couple of weeks ago and this week came the announcement that former Blues half Peter Sterling would also join the New South Wales coaching panel.
The Blues are in something of a transition period following the representative retirement of skipper Paul Gallen and Daley says Sterling is a perfect fit for the Blues side as it seeks once again to wrest the Origin title from the Maroons.
