Former Melbourne Storm player Ben Hampton (pictured) says he’s happy to be back home in North Queensland after signing a three year deal with the Cowboys.
Hampton grew up in Mareeba and will be a handy addition to the North Queensland sides depth in and around the halves.
Despite playing alongside Storm stars Cameron Smith and Cooper Cronk, Hampton says training with superstar Cowboys skipper Johnathon Thurston still left him starstruck.
