The Queensland Womens team have come within a whisker of ending New South Wales dominance at the 2017 National Indigenous Cricket Championships in Alice Springs.
In just the sides second appearance at the championships and their first grand final, the Maroons side pushed the reigning champions all the way before New South Wales secured a final over 5 run victory.
Queensland skipper Courtney Hagan says she was proud of the way her side took the game up to a New South Wales side, that was just a little too good in the end.
