Maroons lynchpin Johnathon Thurston appears in no danger of missing Origin Game Two in Sydney on Wednesday night.
Thurston took a couple of heavy knocks in the sides opposed training session earlier in the week leading to fears that he might be in doubt but it now appears certain he will play.
Fit or not, Thurston is certain to draw plenty of defensive attention from the giant Blues forwards but Queensland skipper Cameron Smith (pictured) says he’s confident the match officials will be on hand to ensure the match is played within the laws.
