Queensland and Australian rugby league captain Cameron Smith (pictured) believes there are plenty of options available to cover for the looming representative retirement of Johnathon Thurston.
Thurston has announced that 2017 will be his last season of rep footy, leading to a mad scramble of players seeking to be considered for his position.
Smith says only a lack of consistency will stop Brisbane star Anthony Milford from becoming the next Queensland and Australian five eighth.
