Melbourne Storm skipper Cameron Smith has notched up another milestone in his remarkable career in the Storms 34 – 22 defeat of St George on Sunday.
Smiths five conversions from six attempts in the win sees him pass Jason Taylors record to become the NRL’s most prolific goalkicker with 943 successful kicks at a rate of 73.09 per cent.
Smith (pictured) is also set to notch up a couple of significant milestones in the upcoming ANZAC Test and he says while he was unaware of the looming record prior to Sundays game, its one he’ll treasure greatly.
