Billy Slater (pictured) has declared his latest bout of surgery won’t force him out of rugby league for good.
The Storm star went under the knife this week after he reinjured the shoulder on the weekend and will miss the next six to eight months as he recovers.
Storm coach Craig Bellamy says while Slater is in good spirits, there is absolutely no chance the fullback will be back on the field before 2017.
