The AFL world is adjusting to the news that Hawthorn star Jarryd Roughead (pictured) is likely to miss the rest of the season.

Roughhead is set to recieve treatment for  a reoccurrence of the melanoma that saw him undergo surgery and miss games last year.

Roughhead regularly undergoes scans following last years diagnosis and Hawks medico David Fagan says Mondays scan showed a return of the cancer and the premiership star will now undergo a course of treatment that will likely see him miss the remainder of the 2016 season.
