AFL premiers Hawthorn take on the battling Gold Coast Suns in Hobart on Sunday.

The Hawks have started to display their best form in the last couple of weeks and are expecting  the return of skipper  Luke Hodge for the Suns clash.

In further good news for the Hawks,  ball magnet Sam Mitchell will go around for another season in 2017 and is likely to play his 300th AFL game late in the 2017 season.

Its not all good news though for the club with champion forward Cyril Rioli (pictured) to miss his just his second game of the season as he’ll be in the Northern Territory attending the funeral of his grandfather.
