West Coast Eagles mature age draftee Willie Rioli (pictured) is a chance of playing in the AFL early in the 2017 season.
Tiwi islander Rioli was signed after his wonderful season for Glenelg in the SANFL in which he booted 23 goals in just 16 matches and played a starring role in the SANFL rep sides defeat of the VFL team.
West Coast general manager of football Craig Vozzo says while Rioli has a way to go to achieving the fitness needed to play at the highest level, he’s certainly got the skill and footy smarts needed to compete in the AFL.
