Canberra Raiders half Blake Austin says he hopes an increased focus on fitness will enable him to withstand the rigours of the 2017 NRL season.
The Raiders finished just a win away from the 2016 Grand Final and have high hopes for the clubs fortunes in 2017.
Austins partnership with Aidan Sezer should go to a new level after a full season together and Austin (pictured) says having one of Australias greatest ever halves in Ricky Stuart as coach can only see the pair continue to get better when the season proper begins.
